Another year, another Birthday. Not mine, but Bear’s. We didn’t get to spent his last Birthday together, so I’m even more excited to be here for this one.
What did he get I hear you ask? Now, I’m not normally one to advertise but I was so impressed with this that I can’t not give it a small mention. Actually I’m considering giving one to my mother for her own Birthday it was so nice.

Inside are beautiful little envelopes, each with a personal message. One per day for a whole month & change, or even, a message for each year of his life.
We spent the day Downtown at the waterfront & more importantly, at Joe’s Crab Shack. We had – wait for it- CRAB! Amongst other things. I highly recommend the spicy Mussels.
It’s been a great day so far, a beautiful day too, the weather has been perfect. Something I’m going to miss when I go back to Scotland next month.
Anyway, Happy Birthday my Darling. I love you.

Well, I caught up on what has been happening with you this week….wow…
I cried when I read your entry talking about how it felt to know his time is limited as he knows it…. I am so overwhelmingly in awe of your courage, your strength, your perseverance… I hope justice is swift, and that you come away from this knowing what you have done is an inspiration to all of us who are sexual abuse survivors . For that, I thank you. Get some sleep, some much needed mental rest, and let that inner child of yours out as much as possible!

I’m trying to make the most of the rest I have here before going back to Scotland, I’m sure as hell not looking forward to it, but that doesn’t mean I waste the time I have left. It’s hard to think that way sometimes but I’m trying harder than I did last time now that I know what I’m in for & worse.
