We've only been waiting on this thing for what ... 3 1/2 months now? We've only had to be an ocean apart for what... 4 months now? Sorry but the thing was a damned bank statement. There was NOTHING on the envelope to indicate it was from the embassy or the US for that matter. She just said "It's here!" and took the time to phone her and tell her it was her "visa" which, btw it wouldn't be, would just be an NOA (notice of action), inviting her to set up her interview with the consulate. She WAS stupid. She could easily have saved us both from the emotional roller coaster by asking audaciousaria a question or two rather than just saying it WAS it. Obviously she never <em>looked</em> at the envelope, she just saw my name & thought "Well this <em>must</em> be it!".
